AmigaDOS


AmigaDOS is the base of the Amiga's   Operating System  .
It is a very powerful, text based system that can do anything from launching
  Workbench   programs to directing your printer output
to disk or managing your files.

AmigaDOS integrates fully with Workbench and therefore when you shell to
AmigaDOS you are not "dropping down" into DOS as you are on the PC, as
AmigaDOS and Workbench are all on one level.
